Hello!

My name is Michele Richinick and I am a fourth-year journalism major at Northeastern University in Boston. As part of a journalism study abroad program, I planned to travel to Egypt in May and June. Because of the unrest in the country, I will travel to Jordan and Turkey for five weeks instead. I have focused my blog on Egypt to explore the country’s history, culture and society before the trip. Although I am not traveling to Egypt this summer, my interest in the country is still growing. Please enjoy along with me!
